Form Festival is a celebration of design as structure, story, and catalyst centring the work, voices, and legacy of women in architecture. Hosted in Ghent’s Dok Noord and inspired by the architectural rhythm of De Krook, Form Festival brings together designers, thinkers, and makers who believe that form is more than aesthetics, it’s a powerful framework for equity, care, and change.We confront the long standing erasure of women from architectural history and challenge the structural and cultural barriers that persist in the profession today. This festival is a platform to honour the women shaping our cities, those who build, critique, teach, and lead, often against the grain.Through talks, workshops, and visual storytelling, we amplify under represented voices and celebrate architecture not as monument, but as lived experience, designed with empathy, sustainability, and inclusion in mind.
